A PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING IS SET FOR 5:30 REGARDING FY23-24 PROPOSED BUDGET
1. Call meeting to order and take roll call of members.
2. Invocation and Flag Salute
3. Consider appearances from the public.
4. Discuss, consider and take action to select a provider for the employee health insurance for the City of Pawnee. Discussion to include a presentation by Pamela Long from the ALERA Group of Oklahoma.
5. Consent Agenda (A-H) All matters listed under “Consent” are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion. Any Council member may, however, remove an item from the Consent Agenda by request. It will then be considered separately.
A) Discuss, consider, and take action to approve or reject the minutes of the previous meeting.
B) Discuss, consider, and take action to approve or reject the General Fund purchase order list including but not limited to any purchase orders associated with the General Fund such as 911, Street and Alley, Flag, Donation, grant expenditures, etc.
C) Discuss, consider and take action to move the Pawnee City Council June 19th and July 3rd meeting dates to June 26th.
D) Discuss, consider and take action to approve resolution #889, approving the budget for FY23-24.
E) Discuss, consider and take action to accept the Springer Company, Jeremy Springer, CPA, engagement letter to provide services as our financial consultant.
F) Discuss, consider and take action to accept Michael Green’s engagement letter to provide financial audit services for the fiscal year ending on June 30th, 2023.
G) Discuss, consider and take action to accept the transfer of funds from the Industrial Authority in the amount of $50,000 for code enforcement to use for dilapidated structures.
6. Discuss, consider and take action to approve purchase orders in the amount of $109.44
from J and J Custom Fire.
7. Discussion and action on any new business. New business being defined as any business that was not provided in time to be put on the agenda.
8. Consider Council Members’ Reports, Mayor’s Report, and Department Reports.
