PAWNEE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA

1.         Call meeting to order.

2.         Invocation and Flag Salute

3.         Call the roll of members, and establish a quorum is present.

4.         Consider appearances from the public.

5.         Discuss, consider, and take action to approve or reject the minutes of the previous meeting for August 3, 2020.

6.         Discuss, consider, and take action to approve or reject the minutes of the previous special meeting for August 13, 2020.

7.         Discuss, consider, and take action to approve or reject the General Fund purchase order    list including but not limited to any purchase orders associated with the General Fund such as 911, Street and Alley, Flag, Donation, grant expenditures, etc.

8.         Discussion to address Ordinance #1100 amending an Ordinance in chapter 12.112 Section A through Chapter 12.116.  (Notice to abate) concerning the notices being sent by certified mail, would like have another option, certificate of mailing and adding   administration fees to filing liens etc.  (Matt will have a copy of the amended   ordinance and Officer McDaniel will be here for questions concerning program for enforcing the ordinances of the City of Pawnee.

9.         Discussion and possible action to declare Small Flat Screen 4.3 Computer Monitor mfg in Oct. 2002 has reached life’s end is no longer operable and designate for disposal.  This has no value and we are requesting council to give us permission to discard.

10.       Discussion concerning the hill slippage.

11.       Discussion concerning the bore of the Black Bear for the eight-inch water line.

12.       Discussion and action on any new business.  New business being defined as any business that was not provided in time to be put on the agenda.

13.       Consider Council Members Reports, Mayor’s Report, and Department Reports. Mayor’s Report–There will be information on the Section 125 Plan and HRA Plan because there were questions concerning these two plans after the special meeting.  We have contacted Pam Long and discussed these issues with her and we will be receiving information on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 concerning the ability to address them and their limitations

14.       Take action to adjourn.

PAWNEE INDUSTRIAL AGENDA

1.         Call meeting to order.

2.         Consider appearances from the public.

3.         Discuss, consider, and take action to approve or reject the minutes of the previous meeting.

4.         Discussion and action to approve or reject the purchase order lists.

5.         Discuss, consider, and take action to enter executive session regarding discussion of unresolved rent issues from August 2016 through October 2018, discussion of a new lease, discussion of new lease with terms to reconcile some of the rent issues, adjustable rates of rent over time to mitigate arrears and other issues covered by executive session at 1310 Sewell Drive.  Pursuant to Title 25 Section 307b4:  Confidential communications between a public body, and its attorney.  Concerning a pending investigation, claim, or action if the public body, with the advice of its attorney, determines that disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the public body to process the claim or conduct a pending investigation, litigation, or proceeding in the public interest.
